How to set VGA splitter cable?

Just similar to Ethernet cable splitter, 2 way VGA/SVGA cable splitter is the most popular one for family use. But 2 way splitter can not set Hertz and the resolution separately. If you need to use it, you have to set them on the LCD. Normally it is 1280*1024, 60 Hz for 17/19 inch and 1650*1050, 60 Hz for 20/22 inch. If it is a LCD TV, you have to check the model yourself. Usually it is 1280*800, 60 Hz or 1024*600, 60 Hz. In this case, the setting depends on your graphics card whether or not supports the resolution format. Please note that widescreen settings are absent in some individual old graphics cards.
